What is the credit report?

Credit reports are a relatively new service in Bulgaria. They contain general information for the company – managers and their participation in other companies; information regarding the main shareholders and their partnerships in other enterprises; the company’s main activity; seat and headquarters’ address.

The report contains also the company’s financial information – balance sheets, profit and loss account, financial profitableness indices, liquidity and leverage ratio, including a horizontal analysis of the dynamics of the financial indices’ development. The main indicators for financial stability are the Altman Z-score and the evaluation for the level of the financial stability.

Why is the credit report useful?

Credit reports come in very useful when you start business relations with a new partner; when you need more information about an existing client, partner or supplier; as well as if you need to know more about your competitors in the field.

The price of the credit reports varies depending of the quantities ordered – the customers are benefiting from a fixed discount on the basis of the quantities. The price also varies depending on whether the company who orders the report as well the company which is the object of the report is registered in Bulgaria or not.
